Hello! I have been repairing electronics for the last 10 years. My interest started as a teenager, learning guitar and building my first fuzz pedal – a Big Muff clone. As I got older, I started playing in local bands and would fix equipment as issues would arise. I began buying broken gear second-hand as a way of getting new amps cheap. I still have the Silvertone 1484 that kicked off the whole process.
Later on I began picking up vintage receivers to get experience with Solid-State electronics. I also grabbed a few reel to reels along the way – my first restoration was the venerable Tascam 388.
As things progressed, I taught myself more on the electronics theory and received the Certified Electronics Technician – Associate level certification from ETA International.

Rates: $100 ‘bench fee’ – includes initial testing, diagnostics and cosmetic touch-ups.
$80 per hour labor after that, plus parts. No work will be performed until bench test is completed and assessment/quote is extended to the client.
